17th Bomb Group

The last several mailings of the Sortie newsletter have seen an increasing number of copies returned because of members moving and not leaving a forwarding address. Then too, there are many instances where postal Zip codes have changed or telephone area codes have changed. This information needs to be current if we are to help our members stay in touch with one another - and at this stage of our lives this is all important.

The USPS charges us $1.40 for each Sortie returned. Before long before it begins to negatively impact our financial resources - which at best are meager - remember, we don't have membership dues, we stay afloat with contributions from our members. Also, we haven't included the hours spent attempting to track members to find out where they are, or what happened to them - or if they even want to continue receiving the Sortie.

So there you have it, pure and simple, we've reached a point where it's essential that we know the information listed in the form below. Your help in this matter will not only keep the Sortie alive but will enable us to remain informed and connected not only with each other but with the events that occurred many years ago while serving our country - and that is pretty much what our association is all about - and to this we are committed.
